Log in to the Printer on your computer using the Printer's IP address
To Find IP address > On the Printer click "Utility"
Click "Utility" again on the new screen
Click "Information" on the left side
Click "Network Setting Information" on the left side
Scroll down to IPv4 Address and copy that down.
Put the IPv4 Address into the address bar of your browser
Username: Administration (Admin)
Password: 12345678 or 1234567812345678
Maintains >> Date/time settings >>Time adjustments settings >> host name is time.google.com >> Data Entry (should get pop up of "Adjustment successful")
Network >> E-mail Setting >>E-mail TX (SMIP)>> Make sure the below is correct
- SMTP server address is smtp.gmail.com
- SSL/TLS settings is Start TLS
- Under "Certificate Verification
level Settings" make sure all 5 are off (expiration Date, Key Usage, Chain, Expiration Date, CN) - Admin E-mail address and User ID need to be the same address.
- Make sure the password is correct for email. if you have a 2-step verification or you are getting an error message of 530 "login error," see below under Gmail steps.
- "Change from address setting" should be set for "Fix Administrator Address."
- Make sure to hit "OK" at the bottom to save changes
Maintain>> PING TX >>check check box and enter smtp.gmail.com
If getting error for login go to email Your name (top right) >> manage your google account >> Search for "app Password>> App Name with "Konica Minolta" >> create
- Passcodes that will show up will only show up once so copy the passcode. Paste the code into an email so you can edit it to remove the spaces. Go back to Network >> E-mail Setting >>E-mail TX (SMIP)>> and paste new passcode (with no spaces) into the password spot under User ID
