If the AC stops working, follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and possibly resolve the issue:

1. Check the Thermostat

  • Ensure the thermostat is powered on and set to "cool" mode.

  • Verify the temperature setting is below the current room temperature.

  • Check the batteries (if applicable) and replace them if needed.

2. Inspect Power Supply

  • Confirm the AC unit is receiving power.

  • Check circuit breakers and fuses in the electrical panel. Reset any tripped breakers or turn off the breaker to the AC unit for 5 minutes, and then switch back on. This helps reset the system.

  • If there's a power outage in the building, verify when service will be restored.

3. Examine Air Filters

  • Dirty or clogged filters can restrict airflow and cause the system to shut down.

  • Replace or clean filters if they appear dirty.

If the issue continues to persist, please reach out to your DM to submit a ticket.
